Neglect at the Mall
I’m just sitting around at Dolphin Mall in Doral, Fl when i see this toddler layin on the filthy floor while his brother lifts him by his feet. I looked around for his mom but couldnt find her so I decided to start taking pictures. After pretending to step on the kids face, his brother proceeded to jump over him. He then tried to make the toddler stand up but the toddler wasn’t having it. He preferred to lay on the floor.
That’s when another family member came in to do a lot of the same things. However, this time, they were able to hoist the kid up by his hands and legs.
Mom’s a tourist from South America and she came out and told the kids to stop messing around. Without any anger or worry on her face, she took the toddler inside the store and the two other boys followed. Whether or not she learned not to trust these two boys with watching her son, I’ll never know.

I’m about to go for my one year of MPH at Harvard for Global Health. I have a Bachelors in International Studies with an Emphasis on Intercultural Communication from Pepperdine University.
